Job Summary

POLAHS is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated high school PE teacher to join our team. This educator would be interested in teaching PE and dance at POLAHS. An ideal candidate will have a student-centered approach to teaching, will support students as they engage with a variety of physical activities, and is committed to helping students develop their ideal fitness. The teacher will design engaging lessons aligned with state standards and support all learners in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment. The candidate will be expected to work closely in collaboration with others in the PE Department, and be able to work in a cross-curricular or extracurricular fashion with other departments and employees as well.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree - Valid California single-subject credential in PE and related authorizations, such as a California English Learner Authorization.
