Developed by a coalition of San Diego civic leaders and educators, High Tech High opened in September 2000 as a small public charter school with plans to serve approximately 450 students. HTH has evolved into an integrated network of 16 charter schools serving approximately 6,500 students in grades K-12 across four campuses. Academic Coaches are responsible for ensuring that students with diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum. Academic Coaches are essential to maintaining our low student-teacher ratio and ensuring all students get the individualized attention requisite for success. Academic Coaches must have at least 60 units of college credits completed in order to be considered for a position. The Academic Coach is responsible for ensuring that students with diverse needs have access to our general education curriculum.
