The Visual Arts Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts is looking to fill the following teaching positions for the '25-'26 school year, August 12th - May 1st: Beginning Photoshop/Digital Graphic Design (9th grade students only) 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm Mon/Wed Job Summary: Digital/ Graphic Arts Instructor, skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. Preferably with BFA- Fine Arts/Media Arts specialization. Classes meet in person at OCSA Santa Ana campus Monday/Wednesday 2:00 to 4:45. Students use PCs with Wacom One tablets. Students will create three major projects per semester. Previous class projects and class syllabi are provided and can be modified to reflect the instructor's skill set. Student outcomes should include Color Theory review, Principles of Design review, basic skills in Photoshop, and the completion of three main projects. The average class size is 22 students. The instructor's role is to provide students with a nurturing, fun, and dynamic arts educational experience. Advanced Photoshop- Digital Illustration (10th,11th,12th grade students) 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm Tues/Thurs Job Summary: Digital/ Graphic Arts Instructor, skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. Preferably with BFA- Fine Arts/Media Arts specialization. Classes meet in person at OCSA Santa Ana campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 to 4:45 pm. Students use PCs with Wacom One tablets. No credential is necessary at the time of applying. However, the selected candidate will be required to obtain a Preliminary Career Technical Education (CTE) credential during the onboarding process and before the start of their assignment and a Clear CTE credential within three years.
