Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, organize, coordinate, design, develop, test and implement all employment contract and school administration systems, such as Accounting and Human Resources (HR)/payroll Systems (e.g., Frontline and Escape), Student Information Systems (SIS) and report cards (e.g., Synergy and Siras Systems), Student Assessment Systems (SAS) (e.g., Schoolzilla and ELLevation), digital learning platforms (e.g., Clever and Google Classroom), communication systems (e.g., ParentSquare), and publisher databases (e.g., Wonders, Bridges, Reflections, CPM, Amplify, Second Step). Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, ensure accurate and timely delivery of GUSD data to state and federal agencies, and coordinate with such agencies for compliance with regard to California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) including the California Alternate Assessment (CAA), California Basic Educational Data System (CBEDS), California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS), California State Assignment Accountability System (CalSAAS), Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC), English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) (Initial, Summative, and Alternative), Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and similar data submissions. Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, assist each of the Assistant Superintendents in their efforts to: meet instructional and curricular goals for students; address increased or improved services for Foster Youth, English Learners, and Low-income students, as well as students with special needs; and ensure equitable and legal recruitment, selection, placement, and employment processes for all GUSD employees.
