JOB TITLE: ATTENDANCE COORDINATOR/HEALTH TECH SCHEDULE: 2025/26 School Year - Full-time 40 hrs/wk WAGE: $23.85 - $36.08 per hour, depending on experience SUMMARY: The Attendance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate daily and monthly attendance reporting, overseeing receptionist data entry, and maintaining state compliance through audits, reports, and parent communication. They manage programs like Attendance Recovery and support chronic absenteeism interventions, Independent Study contracts, and eligibility tracking for state benefits like Free and Reduced Meals. The role also supports the After Care Director with ELOP reporting and provides essential data to school leadership for budgeting and planning. Additionally, as Health Tech, the position assists the School Nurse with student health record compliance, screenings, disease control coordination, and state-mandated health reporting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Student Attendance and database Ensures accurate attendance tracking and reporting to the State, including but not limited to: Oversee receptionists entry of daily attendance into Synergy student database Ensures receptionists are maintaining Absence Call Logs with accuracy and consistency with other student attendance records Contacts parents daily to resolve unreported absences and reconciles reported absences to daily attendance rosters (backup: Receptionist) Oversees Attendance Recovery Program, ensuring students are making up necessary attendance time Monitors student attendance and resolves chronic absenteeism problems by contacting parents or beginning the SARB process (with prior approval from the Executive Director) Prepares and reconciles end-of-the-month attendance reports by the specified deadline(s), with the Business and Finance Administrator for audit check and approval Audit attendance codes in Synergy for each Learning Period closing Prepares teacher rosters for final Attendance Verification and s
