Employed on a day-to-day basis to take over and operate a classroom when the regular teacher is absent. Substitute teachers may be employed in regular education and special education classes.
Requirements / Qualifications
All the material below must be submitted online via Edjoin.org for hiring consideration: Copy of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university ( official transcripts will be requested upon hiring) Current valid California teaching credential (multiple subject, single subject, or Education Specialist) with Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development (CLAD or BCLAD) certificate preferred or candidates with 30 Day Substitute Permit and/or completion Basic Skills Requirement such as CBEST (willing to apply for substitute teaching permit)
