Requirements / Qualifications

The Vacancy: There are multiple part-time (3 hours a day), school year, permanent positions at Elementary School sites. This recruitment will also be used to create an eligibility list, and to meet the District's need for substitute and temporary employees to fill vacancies for up to six months. The Position: Under general direction of the school principal or designee, monitor students on playgrounds, cafeteria, and other designated areas during non-instructional time, and perform related duties as directed.

Required Qualifications: The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this classification would typically be acquired through graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate; experience working with children in an organized setting, and possession and maintenance of a current first aid and CPR certification. Selection Procedure: The selection process will consist of a written exam and a qualifications appraisal interview each weighted 50%. Applicants must submit with application all of the following:

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation
  • Proof of HS Graduation
  • Resume
