Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services and Special Education, provides an instructional program for preschool pupils whose assessments demonstrate to the IEP Team that the degree of the pupil’s impairment requires special education in one or more of the program options as authorized by Section 56361 of the Education Code.

Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, provides an instructional program for pupils who exhibit learning disabilities of such severity that the Educational Assessment Services deems regular class placement impossible.
Sample Duties and Responsibilities:
?Provide consultation and information to parents and staff members.
?Coordinate exceptional needs in the resource specialist program.
?Monitor pupil progress and participate in program review.
?Prepare mandated reports and documents required.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Ed Credential or Education Specialist credential authorizing service with preschool-age students.

Resume Two recent letters of recommendation, preferably by a Supervisor (within the last 2 years) Copy of Education Specialist Instruction Credential authorizing service to Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students Autism Spectrum Disorder Authorization and English Language Learner Authorization.
