Job Summary

The Varsity Sideline Cheer Coach at Walnut High School will oversee and direct the sideline cheer program. This role requires leadership skills to guide lower-level coaches and ensure the program aligns with the school's philosophy. The coach will mentor students in both their spiritual and athletic development, conduct organized practices, and manage various aspects of the program such as rosters, uniforms, equipment, and choreography. The position also involves regular communication with the athletic director, athletes, and their families, and includes sideline cheer administrative duties such as attending pre- and post-season meetings and maintaining CPR certification. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and positive environment for all athletes.
