The Alpine County Office of Education operates a Community School in South Lake Tahoe in partnership with LTUSD. We’re seeking a passionate teacher to serve students in grades 7–12 who thrive in a non-traditional setting. This program provides alternative, student-centered education with social-emotional and academic supports. Join our team to build a safe, inclusive, and flexible program where every student belongs. Alpine County Office of Education is the Employer, but the school site will be located at the Al Tahoe Campus in South Lake Tahoe.

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements: Valid California Teaching Credential (Single Subject or Multiple Subject) Bilingual in Spanish preferred Experience with alternative education or at-risk youth a plus
