Job Summary
Wheatland-Bear River Middle School Ag program is in Wheatland, Ca and is looking for an additional Ag Teacher. This position will include some science courses as well as ag classes ranging from Horticulture to STEM to Animal Science. This is an opportunity that does not come along very often. We are looking for the right person to help grow and build the program that has only been in existence for 6 years. We have a very active program at all levels from the local level to the national level. We are currently in the process of further development of facilities including a second greenhouse, an aquaponics unit, our shop and floral facility. Our program is a multi-person department looking for a passionate hardworking individual that loves agriculture education and students. The position will include supervision of FFA and SAE activities in an active FFA program.
Requirements / Qualifications
Position Start Date: August 11, 2025 Salary will be based upon units above BA & prior teaching experience. May be credited with up to 10 years past teaching experience, salary ranging from $56,040 - $105,640 plus $2,050 MA stipend and $14,000 towards H&W. Must have a valid CA Single Subject Credential in the Ag/Sciences Credential, and a CLAD Certificate or equivalent.
