Job Summary
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provides specialized academic instruction services to students with moderate to severe educational needs utilizing assessment and specialized instructional strategies. Prepares and implements individual education programs, maintains records, attendance accounting, and pupil progress reports, works with parents, support staff, and other service providers.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requirements: Severely Handicapped or Education Specialist: Moderate/Severe Disabilities credentials, or other special education credential with willingness to acquire a moderate/severe credential; CLAD, SDAIE or ELL Authorization, Highly Qualified for Elementary Multiple Subjects.
Condition of Employment: Employees are required to submit to a Department of Justice background check and provide proof of freedom from tuberculosis and vaccination of Measles.
