Job Summary

The Substitute Paraeducator After School position is on call, as needed, to fill in for employee absences, vacancies, or limited term assistance. Examinations and Interviews are scheduled based on substitute demand. You will receive an email notification when we are ready to move forward with the next step in the recruitment. Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a High School Diploma or a GED AND Complete at least 48 semester units of study at an institution of higher education (college level) OR Obtained an associate's (or higher) degree OR Met (passed) an assessment that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics OR reading, writing, and mathematics readiness. In addition to the above standards, applicants must demonstrate competence in higher level math skills required in a high school program and the ability to use computers, software and other technology tools and resources relevant to providing academic support to high school youth.
