Are you a tech-savvy professional with exceptional communication skills and a passion for supporting educators? We’re looking for a Human Resources Technician to join the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools Office! In this dynamic role, you won’t just manage paperwork – you’ll be the welcoming face for substitute teachers and aides. You’ll lead substitute orientations, deliver impactful presentations, and serve as a resource for the human resources department. Your strong public speaking abilities will shine as you guide new hires through onboarding and training. Behind the scenes, your high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management will be key as you manage records, generate reports, and improve processes. If you’re detail-oriented, professional, and ready to support the heart of education, we want to hear from you.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities, may be qualifying. We reserve the right to determine if a candidate meets the qualifications. • High school graduate or equivalent. • At least two (2) years recent experience working in a personnel department; preferably in an educational or public agency setting. • Typing certificate of net 45 wpm from local agency within the last three (3) years.
