SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Principal or Coordinator, serve as a school community liaison between identified students, parents, schools and outside community organizations or agencies; provide a variety of support to improve student academic performance, attendance, tardiness, parent/family engagement and child welfare; provide information and materials to parents and families to assist them in utilizing community services and local resources; perform a variety of clerical duties; provide interpretation services for both oral communication between English and a designated second language.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from high school and one (1) year of responsible experience in community relations, social service, inter-group or intercultural activities, or similar program work.
