Description: This is a full-time, salaried, 10-month employment position. The primary purposes for this employment position include instructing, teaching and counseling students; positively contributing to students’ continued academic, emotional, and social growth; recognizing, assessing, and understanding each student’s academic needs and providing the necessary support to accomplish educational goals. The ability to coordinate and counsel with parents regarding home strategies is an essential component of this employment position. This job is typically performed in an indoor environment requiring the following physical abilities: light lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling; sitting, reaching, handling, and/or feeling: seeing, speaking, and hearing. This position reports directly to the Principal.
