Requirements / Qualifications

Under limited supervision, candidate will perform specialized and responsible technical and clerical purchasing functions according to well-defined policies and procedures, applying relevant rules, regulations and codes. Candidate will provide technical/clerical assistance to staff in the processing and maintenance of online purchasing records and files; purchase order distribution; processing of stores orders; record retention/storage processing and fixed assets management system; Candidate will also assist in routine departmental duties. Qualifications: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by required knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired through a minimum of one year of performing purchasing, materials management or fiscal work. Candidate must have knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, as well as appropriate telephone techniques and etiquette. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling and punctuation are essential. Please note: Incomplete applications and/or those lacking current information may not be considered as eligible candidates
