Job Summary
Job Summary
Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the Controller is responsible for the planning, organizing, controlling and directing of the iLEAD fiscal services. The controller will develop information and recommend policies and procedures for financial management and planning as well as train and evaluate performance of assigned staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or have at least 5 years of experience in a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in school finance, including experience in supervision, training and motivation of personnel. Computer software experience working with financial statements, audit scheduling, accounts payable, budget development, cash management, indirect costing and government reporting. Knowledge of acceptable accounting principles. Knowledge of legal provisions governing school district financial transactions. Best practices of school district accounting and financial record keeping. Ability to organize and multi-task. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of iLEAD personnel, the board and the public. California Resident
