Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Maintenance, Operations & Facilities, plan, organize, control, and manage the work in planning, design, and construction of new school buildings and facilities, and the alteration, relocation and repair of existing buildings and structures; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (business administration, public administration, engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management) preferred and two (2) years related experience; additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience managing new construction projects and major renovations/modernizations for public education districts or other public agencies and related facilities; experience with Lease-Leaseback delivery method or other delivery methods related to public agency construction. Valid California Driver's Licenses is required.

The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $9,960 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $12,000 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
