Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Principal-Special Education, teaches children in need of special education for the Santa Clara County Office of Education’s Special Education program; develops and writes individualized education programs (IEPs) for the students; develops and maintains a hygienically clean, safe, and effective learning environment in which self-help activities and independence are stressed for the students. This position will be placed at the Children’s Healthcare Organization of Northern California (CHONC). This is a part-time position, 50% of the school year.

Requirements / Qualifications

CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATION - Education Specialist Instruction Credential, Moderate/Severe Disabilities or other valid California Special Education Credential authorizing the teaching of students with moderate severe disabilities; such as Extensive Support Needs Credential - English Learner authorization (CLAD) - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
