ABOUT THE POSITION Under the direct supervision of the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) Superintendent of Schools or Deputy Superintendent, the position of Chief Financial Officer is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, directing, and administering services for LACOE. This position provides executive leadership to the Business Services Divisions of the county office of education, including the internal and external business, as well as the financial oversight of the county office and the related mandated and elective services provided to Los Angeles County school districts, community college districts, and charter schools.
