Under direct supervision of the school principal, and with the assistance of HCOE’s Deaf/ Hard of Hearing Educational Specialist, act as an educational interpreter and tutor for hearing impaired students as they are integrated into the regular classroom or participate in school activities supporting the classroom teacher’s planned curriculum. Initial Placement on Salary Schedule: $28.74-$30.78 Depending on Experience 10 Month Work Year (186 Work Days) Monday- Friday 8AM- 3:00PM (6.5 hrs.)
