Under the general supervision and guidance of the School Director, Apprentice Teachers (AT) are enrolled in the HTH Teacher Center District Intern Credentialing Program co-teaching alongside an experienced teacher for a gradual release into teaching and instructional responsibilities. The Apprentice Teacher has experience working with students. This person is someone who is ready to be a teacher but not ready to have their own classroom without support. This person should embrace a collaborative team teaching approach and will be responsible for small groups and provide academic instruction to students. Apprentice Teachers are issued a California District Intern Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) which is valid for the two years that they are enrolled in the Intern Program.

Bachelor's Degree Basic Skills Requirement Certificate of Clearance Completion of District Intern summer preservice coursework (120 hours) Met all program and credential requirements for official enrollment into the District Intern Program 2024-25 school year.
