Job Summary

The Special Education Program Specialist provides support for the instructional program for students with special needs, provides pertinent information and consultant services to staff members and parents, and provides ongoing student assessment and evaluation. This position is responsible for coordinating assigned special education program components and related activities, providing information to general education staff, special education staff, and students and parents. The Classical Academies is an organization of award-winning, tuition-free, Certified California Public Charter Schools serving North San Diego County since 1999. With over 4,500 students in grades TK-12, the schools are making a tremendous impact as they reinvent public education.
