Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Head Softball Coach. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated record of running a high-performance softball program and be able to run high level practices as well as possess the ability to run a practice for novice softball players. This position starts August 1, 2025, and ends June 30, 2026. NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching, NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest, NFHS Concussion in Sports, NFHS Heat Illness Prevention, CPR/First Aid/AED certification are required. The head coach will be responsible for managing the teams in alignment with and dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Experience: 3 years direct coaching experience preferred.
