SALARY: Starts@ $18.93/hr - $25.40/hr DOE, 181 school days. MULTIPLE POSITIONS: Lone Tree, Wheatland Elementary, and Bear River Middle School. SHIFTS: Various shifts available, TBD upon interview and job offer: A) 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm B) 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm C) 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm POSITION DESCRIPTION: To provide fun learning activities that match student's interest, are theme-based, and are lesson plan driven; and provide enrichment activities in the areas of leadership, recreation, and service learning such as games, arts, computer, cooking, drama, etc. to a class of students. • Provide opportunities for students to succeed through developing and strengthening their leadership, decision-making and social skills. • Work as a team to design and implement age-appropriate fun learning activities. This position is part-time and seasonal; time commitment must be flexible to include afternoon and evening hours on a varied schedule.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduation from high school or its equivalent. • Experience working with school-age students (K-8). • Tuberculosis Bacillus (TB) and fingerprint clearances.
Pass a para-professional proficiency test - available to take @ the District or have at least an A.A. Degree.
