Requirements / Qualifications

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of: Applicable treatment modalities and theory for the pediatric population CPR Certification with six (6) months of employment First Aide Ability to: Possess an appropriate California operator’s license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles and be insurable Interact with and maintain cooperative relationships with all levels of staff and the public Communicate effectively in English language both orally and in writing Communicate occupational therapy treatment techniques and goals effectively to parents, teachers, doctors and other program staff Document and quantify objectives for OT Intervention Speak and write the Spanish language EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited college or university At least six (6) months of AOTA approved clinical affiliation Must have passed the American Occupational Therapy Association Registration examination and maintain current AOTA Registration Experience in treatment and evaluation of children with developmental delays, neurological and orthopedic disabilities and perceptual disabilities, desirable
