Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assessment and Data Program Manager and in collaboration with the Education Support Services Assistant Superintendent, the Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and management of countywide strategies, designed to improve data-informed decision-making among county staff and Local Educational Agencies (LEAs). This individual will lead the administration of the Cradle to Career Roadmap, ensuring access to current resources, training materials, and best practices. The role includes providing guidance, professional development, and direct support to county and district staff in understanding, interpreting, and using data effectively for assessment, reporting, and program improvement. The Coordinator will support and manage ongoing operations, processes, and procedures related to data literacy, assessment, and reporting within the county and local districts. Additionally, this individual will provide technical, specialized, consultative, advisory, and planning services to LEA in developing and strengthening the capacity of LEA staff to make data-driven decisions based on state-wide and local student outcome data

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS •Possession of a Master’s degree (or higher) in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university; •Possession of a valid California Administrative Credential or Certificate of Eligibility (COE); •Possession of a valid California Clear Single or Multiple Subject Teaching Credential; •Two (2) years of experience as an administrator in a California school district or county office; •Two (2) years of recent experience in implementing, managing websites or web-based resources in K-12 settings; •Two (2) years of recent experience in collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing data in K-12 settings.
