Requirements / Qualifications
The Position of Director I School Improvement, under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, organizes and is responsible for all facets of assessment and technology for the District. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Master’s Degree with intensive course work and/or experience in teaching, psychological services, testing, guidance and/or administration. Must have a valid teaching credential and at least five years’ successful teaching experience. Credential: A valid teaching credential. A valid California Administrative Credential. High School Administrative experience preferred. Knowledge: School and District policies; federal and state guidelines and laws regarding special education services; curriculum design and instructional methods used in special and regular education programs; staff in-service training techniques; effective interventions.
