Under general supervision, plan, organize, teach and evaluate a program of Mathematics for secondary students.
Teach various courses in Mathematics curriculum to secondary students; develop a balanced math program involving appropriate activities for each student; assess student progress and prescribe remedial instruction where appropriate; encourage students to relate math to the real world; establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior necessary for productive classroom environment; maintain all required records; participate in non-classroom supervision of students as assigned; attend staff meetings, parent conferences and back-to-school functions as required; participate in professional growth activities.
Must have CLAD or equivalent.
Must be NCLB "highly qualified" in mathematics.
