Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: • Two years of responsible experience performing varied clerical work or one year of successful Clerk Typist II experience in the Val Verde Unified School District. • Type at a rate of 50 words per minute from clear, legible copy. • CPR/First Aid certificate is desirable. • Resumé desirable.

Online Application Attachments: Interested applicants are required to submit an EDJOIN online application and the following attachments: • If you have taken the exam for Clerk Typist III within the last three years, attach a copy of your letter indicating a passing score of 75%. (Testing scores are good for three years from the original testing date.) If you are a current District employee who has passed the exam, please attach a copy of your letter indicating passing score of 75%. • Declaration of Proficiency for typing competency(This can be found on the last page of the job posting). Please note: False statements shall be sufficient cause for disqualification. This document must be attached in order to move forward in the recruitment process.
