Job Summary
The After School Program Instructor’s (ASPI) primary responsibilities and qualifications are listed below. All ASPCs report to their site administrator(s). The ASPI is responsible for implementation of the after school program with the guidance and direction of the After School Program Coordinator. The ASPI will foster a collaborative and stimulating program and environment for a diverse group of students, as well as foster a strong collaboration between parents, faculty members, board members and community partners.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Meet the requirements of NCLB & ESSA -Prior experience working with students in a learning/tutoring/after school program environment -Bilingual in Spanish and/or Korean preferred -Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook -Must be a flexible, positive, detail-oriented, team player who is patient and willing to learn. -Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment with flexibility and dedication -At times this job may entail lifting, walking, sitting and standing for periods of time
