ESSENTIAL TYPES OF DUTIES
· Seeks to reach District standards as established in the designated curricular areas as adopted by the Governing Board as they relate to all pupils for which the teacher is directly responsible.
· Performs co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent and/or other designated persons.
· Provides a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students within the guidance as established by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and designated administrator, adhering to the concept that the safety and welfare of our students is paramount at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess or be eligible for appropriate California classroom credential.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid and appropriate Single-Subject English Language Arts Teaching Credential OR a Supplementary Authorization in Language Arts issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Possession of CLAD or like certificate.
