The IA’s primary responsibilities and qualifications are listed below. All IAs report to their site administrator (s). The IA is responsible for assisting in the development and performance of the classes they assist in. The IA will foster a collaborative and stimulating classroom environment for a diverse group of students, as well as foster a strong collaboration between parents, faculty members, board members, and community partners.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Meet the requirements of the NCLB & ESSA -Prior experience working with students in a learning environment -Bilingual in Spanish preferred -Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook -Must be flexible, positive, detail-oriented, team player patient and willing to learn. -Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment with flexibility and dedication -At times this job may entail lifting, walking, sitting and standing for periods of time
