Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Community Schools, the Assistant Director of Community Schools works collaboratively with community schools department staff to monitor, support, and facilitate the implementation of the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) at school sites; serves as a bridge between the school sites and Community Schools Department to support and work with a team of department and school personnel to assist in gathering and analyzing assets, needs, and gaps, as well as ways to improve program/service delivery efficiency by internal and external resources.
Requirements / Qualifications
Equivalency Provision: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, education, communications, social services or other fields closely related to the job requirements, may substitute for the required experience up to one year.
License and Certification: A valid driver's license and the availability of private transportation or ability to provide transportation between job sites is required. Ability to be covered under the District property/liability insurance.

Three or more years of professional experience performing similar functions and duties, preferably in a school district setting.
Education:
An Associate’s degree in education related fields from a regionally accredited institution, with coursework in business, communications, social services or a related field.
