Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Administrator will provide critical leadership to carry out the mission, goals, and educational objectives within the Burton School District’s various expanded learning programs. Primary responsibilities include the management of the District’s state-funded Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) and coordinating the daily operations and all administrative aspects of the programs. The Administrator will oversee ELOP-funded programs that provide safe, engaging activities for students in the areas of academics, enrichment, sports, recreation, and more. This involves management of all aspects of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) including budget and program development, outreach to identified students, and collaboration with and the coordination of extended/enrichment care providers and vendors. The ELOP Administrator is responsible for the assistance in oversight of the District’s Expanded Learning Programs: Before School, After School, Intersession, and Summer, including developing programs, supervising, and training of program staff, and providing assistance to school site administrators and staff.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. • Valid California Teaching Credential required. • Valid Administrative Services credential required. • At least five (5) years of full-time teaching experience (or equivalent) is required. • At least three (3) years of administrative experience in a K-12 school setting, is preferred. • Valid CA Driver’s License • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
