Data Tech I * High School Diploma or the equivalent * 3 years in depth experience or training in complex clerical work * Valid California Driver's license (driving between sites is required) Data Tech II (all of the above plus) * 2 years SIS Experience at the district level working with student databases * 2 years (or more) experience writing and running database queries, preferably Aeries queries on the Aeries student information system or SQL. queries on Microsoft SQL Server * 2 years (or more) experience analyzing data in Excel and Google Sheets * Experience with modern operating systems and platforms, including Google Suite for Education and Microsoft windows * SIS Certification (desired) Data Tech III (all of the above plus) * Four years of district-level SIS data management experience * Any combination of training, experience, certification and/or education equivalent to college-level courses in information systems or other related fields, supplemented by college-level courses in systems, analysis, database management, and planning * District Coordinator Full Certification module in the district's SIS (e.g. Aeries) (Desired)
