**You will not be considered for the position if all documents are not submitted by the deadline. -Edjoin Classified Application -Resume -At least three signed Letters of Reference less than one year old and one must be from immediate supervisor (Electronic signatures are not accepted) -Certificate of completion of Police Officer Standards and Training Course in accordance with either Section 832 of the Penal Code or School Security SB 1626 Days: Monday - Friday Hours: 7:30 am - 4 pm REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Under direction, assist the administration with the supervision of student and non-student behavior; patrol campus grounds and parking lots to provide for the security and protection of students, personnel, property and equipment; determine if unauthorized visitors are on premises; report incidents and problems according to established procedures; work with staff, parents and law enforcement agencies in related problems as required; verbally detain and direct students and non-students to the administration as authorized; may appear in court; write reports for school district and law enforcement agencies; enforce rules and regulations of the school district as well as state and municipal laws; perform related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education equivalent to graduation from high school and some voluntary or paid, experience working with teenagers. One year full-time experience in law enforcement, security work or a closely related field is desirable. Certificate of completion of Police Officer Standards and Training course in accordance with either Section 832 of the Penal Code or School Security SB 1626 must be obtained prior to employment. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work includes indoor and outdoor environment; subject to verbal abuse from belligerent students or unauthorized visitors.
