Job Summary
The Program Manager, reports to the Director of CCSP and is responsible for managing and facilitating programs that support college and career readiness throughout San Bernardino County. This position will provide countywide services and assistance to school districts in areas that directly and indirectly impact postsecondary outcomes, including master scheduling and California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data Systems (CALPADS) management to align course offerings with college and career goals, dual enrollment agreements to increase student access to college-level coursework, Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) program implementation and alignment, A-G course completion to increase eligibility for California’s public universities. The Program Manager will lead and facilitate countywide networks supporting school counselors and district administrators on issues relevant to college and career readiness.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Clear Administrative Services Credential; • Possesses of Master’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university; • Three (3) years of administrator or management experience at a school district or county office of education site; • Five (5) years of combined experience as a school counselor or administrator over counseling at a school, district, or county level; • Three (3) years of experience designing training materials and implementing professional development programs and/or workshops; • Experience working with College and Career programs.
