Coordinator II - Special Education PCN# 260065 Under the direction of the Special Education Director, The Coordinator II-Special Education to organize and direct the operations and activities involved in the development and implementation of special education programs and services; provide consultation, technical assistance and training to faculty, staff, families and the public concerning assigned special education programs and related services, standards, requirements and procedures; coordinate communications, information, curricular resources, staff development activities and personnel to meet student needs and enhance educational effectiveness of assigned Special Education programs, coordination or Extended School Year, and designated services.
Requirements / Qualifications
*Valid California Administrative Credential (or willing to enroll in an Aspiring Admin Program and maintain progress toward an Admin Credential) AND one of the following: *Valid Special Services Credential, Clinical Services Credential, Health Services Credential, or School Psychologist Authorization * Master’s degree in school administration (preferred) * Three years of experience teaching or providing services to students with special needs, Including work with curriculum adaptation. * Special Education administrative experience (preferred)
