YOU MUST BE CLEARED THROUGH MERCED COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION IN ORDER TO SUB IN MERCED COUNTY Must possess or qualify for the Certificate of Clearance and ONE of the credentials listed below: SUBP - 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit PROSPECTIVE SUBSTITUTE PERMIT TCMS - Multiple Subject Teaching Credential SB2042 TC2 - Multiple Subject Teaching Credential TCSS - Single Subject Teaching Credential If you are interested in being a substitute teacher for Atwater Elementary School District, you must contact Tina Schultz at the Merced County Office of Education (209) 381-6633 to make an appointment to be processed with your credential. Once MCOE has cleared you to sub, and your application has been reviewed by our Human Resources Department, we will contact you.
