Requirements / Qualifications
Education, Training & Experience: * Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, system administration, or network administration roles * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Bachelor’s requirement may be waived with an additional 2 years of related experience. * High School Diploma or equivalent is required. License and Certificates: * CompTIA Security+ Required. Can be substituted for higher tiered Certification. (CISSP, CYSA, etc.) * Professional-level certification from CompTIA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, ISACA, or related preferred. * ISC2 CISSP is preferred. * Must possess a valid California driver’s license and be insurable.
