Join us for the founding year of our newest New Pacific Charter-Arden/Arcade. We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered TK teacher who is passionate about meeting the needs of all students in a small school environment. The ideal candidate is an instructional leader with a proven track record of driving academic achievement, and building a positive school culture.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree • Valid California Teaching Credential or equivalent CTC-issued document • Appropriate and determined by New Pacific School and/or the State of California as required, the individual will hold all appropriate supplemental credentials
Letter of Introduction Resume Letters of Recommendation (3) Transcripts (unofficial acceptable) TB clearance (upon hire)

New Pacific Charter is a new small, classroom-based, public charter school in the Arden/Arcade area of Sacramento, CA. We are opening for the 2025-2026 school year and will be serving Tk-3rd graders. At New Pacific Charter, we are committed to being leaders in whole child education, personalized learning and inquiry-driven learning which will be delivered through high-quality educational programs and highly qualified school personnel. We are looking for staff who are passionate about meeting the needs of all students and who will be comfortable working in multi-age classrooms with flexible groupings of students.
A few of New Pacific Charter's main objectives are as follows:
-Creating a strong school community with students and families from all social, cultural, and economic groups
-Developing leadership skills in all students and staff through the Leader in Me program
-Providing a personalized education experience that offers a distinctly different choice in public education for families
-Engaging students in their learning through inquiry-based and project-based learning
PCI offers full time employees a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision and STRS for certificated staff. A 401k plan is available for ALL STAFF (including part-time) with an employer contribution.
