Job Summary

Job Summary

EDCOE Special Services is seeking a collaborative special education leader with demonstrated expertise in program development, implementation, and IEP compliance. In partnership with our 14 local school districts, EDCOE Special Services provides early intervention services for children from birth to age three, as well as classroom-based services for students with extensive support needs from preschool through adult transition. The Director of Special Services is a strategic thinker who leads system improvement efforts ensuring the delivery of responsive, inclusive, and high-impact special education services and regional programs across El Dorado County.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Valid California Administrative credential with a Valid Teaching credential or Pupil Personnel Services credential. Experience: Five (5) years experience with Special Education Programs.
