Requirements / Qualifications
Education: Possession of an associate’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field is required. Possession of a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Experience: Three years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or social media management, preferably in the public, education, or nonprofit sectors.

Compensation
$6,072 - $7,002 (4% increase scheduled for July 1 and salary step increase upon successful completion of 6-month probationary period. Exceptional health benefits (with an option that is no cost to the employee) and a defined-benefit pension plan (California Public Employees’ Retirement System).
