Job Summary
St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic First Grade Teacher to join our faith-filled learning community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and committed to nurturing the academic and spiritual development of students in alignment with our Schoolwide Learning Expectations: Service, Faith, Virtue, and Scholarship. The First Grade Teacher will create a positive, engaging, and faith-based classroom environment that supports student learning and Christian formation. Responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction based on Diocesan curriculum, integrating Catholic values into daily teaching, fostering growth in service, faith, virtue, and scholarship, collaborating with colleagues and parents, and following all school and Diocesan policies.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with teaching credentials, or Bachelor’s degree with seven years as a full-time teacher in the Diocese of Sacramento, or Master’s degree with five years as a full-time teacher in the Diocese of Sacramento, or Doctoral degree with three years as a full-time teacher in the Diocese of Sacramento
Previous instructional experience preferred
