Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services provides leadership and oversight for all instructional programs and services across the district, with an emphasis on secondary education (grades 7-12). The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of district wide curriculum and instructional initiatives, Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), district assessment and performance data systems, and supervision of designated departments and directors.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Administrative Services Credential. Master's Degree with additional professional development in curriculum and instruction at the secondary level. Valid teaching or services credential. Previous high school principal and district director experience preferred.
