Job Summary
Performs a wide variety of specialized and responsible tasks including the implementation of the district curriculum based on the grade level taught to develop students' general musical skills, understanding, and abilities; to develop appreciation of music as part of general culture; to discover and develop talents of students in the field of music; to develop knowledge and skills in listening and reading music. This position reports to the school principal/supervisor or designee of the school/office to which the employee is assigned for administrative direction.
