Job Description: Under the supervision of the Principal of Our Lady of Angels School; As an Extended Care Director, the ideal candidate would have strong organizational and communication skills to be able to supervise and provide an appropriately safe, caring and fun environment for the children enrolled in the program. The Extended Care Director assist with the needs of the students and support learning by creating a quiet atmosphere where students can complete homework and enrich the students socially, emotionally and physically. Extended Care Program Schedule: Mondays: 1:30pm-6pm Tuesday – Thursday: 2:30pm – 6pm Adjusted hours on early release days, conference week, and other special schedule days The position is part time (approximately 15-19 hours per week) Pay range: $28-$30 Duties: • Ensure safety of the students in all situations within the extended care program • Oversee the Extended Care Aide • Responsible for monthly billing spreadsheets • Supervise and assist students with homework and day to day needs • Lead children in indoor and outdoor activities • Prepare and serve snacks • Maintain supplies, equipment and materials • Maintain a clean and organized environment • Possess or attain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
