Job Summary

Job Summary

The Assistant Superintendent of Student Services is directly responsible to the Superintendent, and supervises and directs the day-to-day operations of the District’s Student Services division. The Assistant Superintendent of Student Services chairs and serves on District committees as directed by the Superintendent and assists in the planning, development, and implementation of Board Policies and Administrative Regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Employment Standards: * A Master’s or Doctoral Degree from an accredited institution with specialization in school administration, personnel administration or alternative job-related training which demonstrates research and program evaluation skills, and academic proficiency in a job-related major or specialization. *Possess or qualify to hold a valid administrative credential. * At least five (5) years of experience as a public school administrator, preferably including some Central Administrative Office experience.
